1. Hey! Nice talking to you again! My favourite instrument might surprise you. I don’t own one nor have I used one in any songs yet but I really love the sound of the various kinds of bamboo flutes. The sound is so relaxing and airy. I don’t know, it just has a magical pleasing property to me.
2. Mmm, chicken. I guess they evolved to lay eggs at some point? I don’t know.
3. Depends on the time travel theory you subscribe to. If I can’t change the past go back and invest in Microsoft or apple or something. If I can, go forward and bring the cure for cancer back early.
4. There is a song I wrote about my mother’s passing, which I am currently recording, I played it a show and I saw a woman start crying in the back. I almost choked up myself on stage. She left after the song before the end of my set so I didn’t get a chance to talk to her but I’m glad I was able to touch someone a little.
5. Sure, it brings new challenges but generally. Hopefully social programs can be put in place for when all our jobs are replaced by AI.
6. Yes, Maria Q is my vocal coach. She is absolutely amazing and has helped me improve unbelievable amounts. You can find her Insta @mariaqvocalcoaching
7. If I’m being honest I’ve really listen to many 80’s albums in their entirety but probably I would say the Tracy Chapman self titled album. That woman is amazing.
8. Well I’m a third dan in Shotokan Karate. I trained for 15 years. That was huge, dedicated portion of my life that I am very proud of.
9. Aww man don’t make me choose, that was my decade growing up. I think The Black Parade by My Chemical Romance takes it. I still love every track from that album to this day. A modern classic that one hundred percent holds up. But there are so many I could say from that decade.
