"why do i feel this way?" opens the album with dark riffs that generate an immediate tension and suspense that contrasts perfectly with the female voice behind the microphone who is mentally exhausted and tired of dealing with her emotions. Despite her lyrical sadness, she conveys an inexhaustible energy that perfectly complements the noisy riffs and synthetic components mentioned above. The Sleepy Haunts' explosiveness continues and they pour out all their heartbreak thanks to an extremely versatile performance that goes from bass to treble in an instant in this extremely memorable opener!
