1. Cru Cru Gin Wife, super nice to have the chance to chat with you again! First and foremost what got you into music?
Hello! I think my interest in music took off due to my obsession with music videos when I was younger.
2. What is a "Rat Race" and why Max Verstappen wins the damn race every time even if the man doesn't start on pole position?
Participating in the rat race means getting caught up in competitive, materialistic junk. Hahaha I’m not gonna lie, I had to Google who Max Verstappen is.
3. Do you see yourself as an edgy person?
I don’t know! I’m moody with my style-of-the-day.
4. Which alternative records do you listen to in your free time?
The three most important alt records for me in the past few years have been Deceiver by DIIV, Skinty Fia by Fontaines D.C., and Stranger Today by Our Girl
5. Is your work influenced by other musicians that already took a dive in the dark wave scene?
Oh for sure. I pull inspiration from so many people, it helps keep me excited about continuing to make music.
6. If " Rat Race" was a movie which one would it be? Ratatouille? Fast & Furious? Probably something more dark and artsy than these...
Haha ooo that’s a good question! Gosh, I have no idea. Maybe Ratatouille, but black and white to up that spooky level.
7. How many dream pop albums do you own?
Definitely too many to count.
8. Is shoegaze the best genre of all time?
I certainly think so. It’s my comfort genre all the way.
9. What's the best decade for post - punk as an art form?
Hmm…honestly I’m really getting into some more recent post-punk, but I don’t think you can beat the early 80

Review
"Rat Race" has the audacity to begin with guitar riffs that generate immense tension as they contrast with dark noises coming from nowhere! Then comes the lead singer's vocal performance in this race accompanied by dark but dreamy guitar melodies. The whole track takes on dreamy properties in this rat race, as the person behind the microphone has an exceptionally soft voice! I love the dumbo dynamics of this musical act, which easily transitions from noise to quiet and vice versa. I also want to highlight the typical shoegaze textures that take this nocturnal banger to the next level and the soaring notes that are antedated at the end of this single. Don't you dare miss this alternative gem!
