Apeiron Bound - Firmament: Redux
Returning with fresh energy, the Apeiron Bound collective (A.B.C) releases a new take on a familiar song! Introducing multiple new bandmembers including singers Keith "Tank" McDowell & John Galloway, as well as Cody Letts on guitars and Kristopher Huffman on drums.
This fresh new take on the song Firmament (Originally found on the debut-album "Multiplicity" from 2022) showcases how the sound of the collective has clear identifiers, but that it is evolving with the new influences brought in by the new contributors.
This single is the start of a range of singles that will be released in the coming months, ranging from re-imaginings to instrumental versions and more. And to add to this release, the visual side is provided by artist Costin Chioreanu who recreates the dramatic artwork for this song in his own specific style.
"Firmament: Redux" is a storytelling soundscape that explores the underlying themes of cosmic wonder, introspection, and the human quest of meaning.
As Apeiron Bound prepare their long awaited second album, the A.B.C. have dug into the archives to figure out a way to introduce their new chapter. "Firmament: Redux" is the first small handful of stand alone singles to showcase their evolution. The "redux" singles are a way to pay homage to their past while showcasing their sonic and compositional evolution.

Nordstahl - Ragnarök in Berlin
Industrial Metal meets Norse mythology in a brutal examination of modern society's collapse.
The apocalypse isn't coming, “ it's already here. That's the unflinching message at the heart of Ragnarök in Berlin an ambitious Industrial Metal concept album that uses the rich symbolism of Norse mythology to dissect modern society's moral decay.
Born from frustration with widespread apathy and intellectual dishonesty, this project channels the raw power of Germanic metal traditions while delivering sharp social commentary. Each track transforms mythological figures into metaphors for contemporary failings: Thor's silent hammer represents unused courage, Loki embodies moral relativism, and Midgard sleeps while the world burns around it.
The album's sound merges crushing Industrial Metal with epic orchestral elements, creating a sonic battlefield where mechanical precision meets organic desperation. Heavy, metallic percussion symbolizes unused strength, while hypnotic rhythms represent the lethargy of a society unwilling to confront uncomfortable truths.
Sung entirely in German, the lyrics refuse to offer easy comfort or false hope. Instead, they hold up a mirror to behaviors many prefer to ignore: the retreat into comfort zones, the endless circular discussions that never lead to action, and the willing blindness to obvious problems. The mythological framework provides both distance and immediacy. These are timeless human weaknesses playing out in contemporary Berlin.
Ragnarök in Berlin challenges listeners to move beyond passive consumption of both music and life. It's metal with a mission not to entertain complacency, but to shake audiences from their comfortable numbness. In a world drowning in information but starving for wisdom, this project demands that we stop talking and start acting.
The mythology may be ancient, but the message is urgently contemporary: the end of the world isn't some distant event, it's the daily choice between courage and cowardice, truth and convenience, action and endless deliberation.

Sjelløs - Permanent solution for a temporary problem
"Permanent Solution for a Temporary Problem" is a raw and honest portrayal of living with depression, anxiety, and dissociation, set against the backdrop of survival. This album, born from genuine life experiences, serves as a diary in sound, reflecting moments of defiance and numbness. Tracks like "I Was Just Background Noise" and "Permanent" epitomize the project's emotional depth, offering solidarity to those feeling unseen or worn down by the world. Released amidst silence but screaming to be heard, this album stands out for its emotional authenticity and refusal to conform to genre norms.
