From the moment "THE BASSIST'S BASICS" opens with Noah Benson’s thick, walking basslines and intricate keys, I was completely hooked by how effortlessly the group weaves rap, R&B, and jazzy arrangements. Shemar Morgan and Avi Rose trade vocal lines with magnetic chemistry, while Vincent Perry’s verse adds a sleek, modern hip-hop edge that keeps the track grounded. The standout moment comes during "Pink Matter," where atmospheric, neo-soul production swells into dynamic polyrhythms, highlighting their impressive instrumental range.
