The Howl EP runs six tracks and just over 23 minutes, and that brevity suits a band already framed as a Long Island alt-rock outfit with modern edge and classic-rock soul. I hear a record that wants to have impact. Riffs that arrive fast and arrangements that know when to step back and let the groove breathe.

“Modern Man” opens with burnout and displacement, while “Suzy” leans into the ache of wanting out before the town swallows you whole. “Skyline” carries ash-and-dusk imagery as a psychedelic rock single with a nostalgic and melancholic frame. The EP showcases a mood that is tough. To me, the strongest moments come when the band lets that emotional wear show through the volume.
