'Having come to me in a dream, Middle Man seemed to be my way of crystallizing the frustrations I had in music (and life). It gestured me to let go of what wasn’t in my control at the time. Its late 60’s-inspired organic atmosphere of piano, mellotron strings and various rock instruments form a single-tear -inducing groove that eventually reaches almost gospel-like heights.
