Lazywall - Tighaline EP

Lazywall's Tighane EP is a strong statement of intent from the Moroccan rockers who blend traditional North African instruments and Middle Eastern musical heritage with western rock. Their music conveys a deep sense of internal struggle and a desire to break free. It speaks to feelings of emotional exhaustion, being trapped in one's thoughts, and yearning for change or escape.

Flora Lin - Lion Pt. 2

"Lion, Pt. 2" is a raw anthem about the willingness to lose ourselves to protect the ones we love. It speaks of hiding scars and past pain to keep others safe, even going as far as sacrificing our sense of self to let them shine. "When I give you my love, I want it to become your strongest weapon."

It is a collaboration with Recreational Noise, an artist from Pennsylvania.

"Lion, Pt. 2" concludes Flora Lin's upcoming EP "Fauna", that follows the following story:

From the moment she was born, Fauna's world was crackled with the sounds of conflict and heated voices.

She found solace in the whispering winds, but soon enough she realized she could not easily find her place.

Yearning for affection, she often sensed that others found her strange. In her quest for acceptance, she begins to change her personality, attempting to sidestep conflict and fit in. To protect her loved ones, she is even willing to sacrifice her sense of self.

But who will protect her?

Lion Pt.2 opens with steady drums and bass that hold everything together. Cold, dreamy guitars build walls of sound like frozen ice, while Flora Lin’s voice floats above, soft as snow. She sings, “I paid the price,” and “I don’t want anyone to see my true self.” The guitars hum like a motor before fading gently into the fire. Meanwhile, Pt. 1 follows with a groovy, loose energy, driven by heavy riffs and loud drums that evoke a Modest Mouse fever dream. Whispered vocals ask, “Who will lose first?” before exploding into a powerful chorus that feels like breaking free from a cage. The track then eases back and becomes more wavy but keeps its fighting spirit alive.

Animal Souls - MOONDANCING

ANIMAL SOULS is a multi-genre independent music collective headed by producer/bassist Michael Fisher. Michael invites some of the best players in the Fraser Valley of BC and beyond to play and collaborate on his songs. MOONDANCING is the second full length LP from Abbotsford BC's ANIMAL SOULS. This twelve-track record includes three brand new tracks ('May's Song', 'Between The Lines' and 'Nine Lives') along with seven previously released singles and two reimagined songs from the 2021 album 'Wisdom Of Crowds' ('The Lion And The Snake', 'Soul Dance').

Lotus Blanc is the final single before the release of the album Stupid Sexy Paulo (July 11th). Featuring label mate Dude Low, this song is the final teaser before the album release.

Blunt Blade - Forgiveness

The second album by Minnesota artist and multi-instrumentalist Blunt Blade blends rock, progressives rock, epic/dramatic rock, alternative, electronic, and orchestral styles of music. This album was mixed and mastered at the very famous Abbey Road Studios in the UK. Each song tell a story of tragedy, some with a moral and others with a more ambiguous theme. They are dark, moody and melodic. The title track grows over its 10.5 minutes into an epic progressive rock journey for the senses and provides finality in a dark coda, while hinting at a final glimmer of hope.
