Monach - A Light to Guide You

Monach's debut album, "A Light to Guide You," serves as a cathartic journey through the aftermath of a toxic relationship, exploring themes of trauma, mental health, and personal growth. Influenced by prominent figures in the pop-punk and punk scenes such as The Wonder Years, Arm’s Length, and Pup, Monach's music blends introspective lyrics with energetic instrumentals. The album, five years in the making, reflects the band's evolution and commitment to creating a cohesive body of work. With tracks like "No Shine" and "Spencer is a Promoter," Monach showcases their ability to balance introspection with raw emotion, making this release a significant milestone in their artistic journey.

Monach, hailing from Kingston, Canada, has undergone a significant transformation from their days as Hot Knives. The current lineup, featuring Andrew Pitre on vocals, Wryan Doyle on guitars/keys/vocals, Nick Deslandes on bass, Darren Koculyn on guitar, and Curtis Nicholson on drums, came together through mutual friends and shared musical experiences. Drawing inspiration from pop-punk and Emo influences, each member has infused their unique touch into the songs, resulting in the distinctive sound that defines Monach. Their latest album, "A Light to Guide You," was released on May 23rd, 2025.

Leo Brawdy - Shy Guy

Forget the Marlboro Man swagger—Leo Brawdy’s Shy Guy trades alpha bravado for wit, raw vocals, and a cowboy who ends up snogging a bloke. A slow-burner with dark Americana grit, the track gives country clichés a well-aimed boot and proves vulnerability can hit harder than whiskey.

Leo Brawdy isn’t someone you’ll bump into at the corner bar — he only exists in the space where human grit meets AI. Born as an avatar of collaboration, Leo is here to stretch (and sometimes break) boundaries - musical ones sometimes, but not only. His songs draw on the roots of Nashville, but plug in sparks from everywhere — from twang to tick, honky-tonk to electro. The result? A cinematic universe where storytelling runs deep, choruses hit hard, and every track aims to move you — whether that’s with goosebumps or by pulling you straight onto the dancefloor.

Jonathan Alexander - Pirouette

"You’ve spun before. The goal this time is to forget. I’ll be with you if you need, though soon you’ll realize you can pirouette on your own. Not to enchant or to benefit. Maybe to meditate, but even that is too useful. Do it unbecausingly. Do it and fall hard…each time a little more dirt tasting, a little more unleashing the wrong in you. Let it disappoint. Let it cut the chatter and daub your lips brown. Centrifugal disaster, baby. Don’t wait! The moment comes not when furled. Sure, feel the doubt while it tingles, but then go! Now, anywhere…at the edge of sensibility…in the midst of sshwwwoooooiiii, pirouette at the mercy of wonder and your fucking dare to unwind."
