Sound Liberation - Elegy
Sound Liberation’s ninth studio album, Elegy, continues the band's fearless exploration of eclectic soundscapes. Founded by Gene Pritsker, the group follows a bold musical philosophy—breaking down barriers between genres and “ending the segregation of sound vibration.” Their music blends an array of styles, driven by hip-hop and rock rhythms, seamlessly weaving elements of classical, jazz, and world music into a uniquely immersive experience.
On Elegy, Gene Pritsker and Sound Liberation push the boundaries even further, fusing modern jazz, hip-hop, neo-soul, spoken word, fusion jazz, opera, and funk. The track Dealin’ With It is a heartfelt tribute to Gene’s best friend, Sean Satin, who passed away in 2024, while the title track, Elegy, sets the album’s reflective tone, honoring those we’ve lost. Strive features a powerful rap by David Gotay, another of Gene’s close friends, who passed in 2015. The album also includes three electrifying live tracks, capturing the raw, genre-defying energy that defines Sound Liberation’s unforgettable performances.
AK CEEZ - Call Me
Recorded in his home studio, "Call Me" is a track that stands out for its genuine message and J. Cole-esque aura. AK CEEZ's dedication to crafting his music shines through in this release, as he handles all aspects of the production himself, except for the beats. With his authentic storytelling and commitment to truth, AK CEEZ is carving a niche for himself as a conscious rapper with a powerful message to share.
definethehero - I won't but I should
I won't but I should is a fast-paced modern boombap ballad dedicated to self-awareness and the ever-present battle of heart vs head.

T9 da prince - lets go feat ya minko , Franck t and fuhhrare
"Let's Go" was influenced by the diverse backgrounds and talents of the artists involved. Blak-Ram - Blood Gold
UK MC from the Southwest of England who goes by the name Blak-Ram. He uses masks in his promotional material, in particular a black panther mask to represent pan-africanism since most of his music is about revolution and fighting oppression. Blak-Ram is currently documenting the war in Sudan and this latest song Blood Gold is quite a controversial hip hop track. It calls out the United Arab Emirates role in Sudan's devastating war by way of illegal gold smuggling and arms trafficking to the Rapid Support Forces, a violent militia that has been accused of committing genocide by the ICC.
The hook is catchy but the theme is serious, it's a mellow summer soundtrack that has been repurposed to shine a light on what's going on in my country Sudan, through slick flows, storytelling lyricism and clever wordplay and the bass really pops through the speakers.
