During the height of the COVID pandemic, when the world shut down and connection felt out of reach, Darren started The Astronomy Project in his home studio to reconnect with himself as a return to SOURCE.

" I saw my project as a way to build community through music. What began as late-night writing and recording sessions quickly turned into a mission: to make a full-length record, form a band, play live, and connect with others who feel the same pull toward heartfelt, honest rock music."
