This release not only marks a musical milestone for Horizonte Lied but also symbolizes a poignant moment in the band's history as it represents the final collaboration with original member Ernesto Dusolier. Recorded at Studios M-13 owned by Alex Ezert, the track underwent a unique journey from its original demo format on Impulse tracker to a final remaster on Cubase 12, showcasing the band's commitment to evolving their sound while preserving their authentic essence. As part of Horizonte LiedHorizonte 's ambitious "Final Remasters" project, this single sets the stage for a larger body of work that promises a revitalized perspective on the band's musical legacy, with plans to conclude the project with an EP and Maxi-Single by the end of this year.

Horizonte Lied, hailing from Monterrey, Mexico, is a musical project that dates back to 1992 when Alex Ezert and Bernardo Garza, the core members of the band, first came together in high school. Their journey saw them experimenting with Depeche Mode covers and original demos before diving into a more serious musical endeavor in 2001 with their albums "Reciclaje" and "Memorias de Cronicas Futuras". After several hiatus periods, the band finally released "Wishing to be there" in 2018,; 'El Dia Despues' their latest release, is a revamped/remastered version of a track originally introduced in 2008 which is part of their ongoing second part of their bigger body of work project "Final Remasters", all of these releases distributed via the independent label SynthpopYourWorld Records.
