“Guardians of the Multiverse” was born from the idea of creation and consequence, what happens when balance fractures in a world built on control. It’s the opening chapter to a much larger universe we’ve been developing, where sound and story intertwine. Musically, it came from wanting to capture that sense of awe and conflict, the moment the universe starts to unravel, but beauty still finds its place in the chaos.

(º)> How does The Resonance Manuscript influence your music and storytelling?

The Resonance Manuscript is the backbone of everything we create. It’s both a narrative foundation and a philosophical thread that runs through our music. Each song connects to the Manuscript like a page being uncovered, revealing fragments of the lore while exploring human emotion through myth and metaphor. It allows us to merge the literary and musical worlds into one evolving story.

(º)> Why choose masks, and what do they represent for the collective?

The masks are both a symbol and a boundary. They separate the individual from the collective, a reminder that Luna Returns is more than the sum of its parts. They represent anonymity, transformation, and legacy, tracing back to the Guardians themselves within our lore. Behind the mask, we become conduits for the story rather than its authors.

(º)> How do you balance progressive metal intensity with cinematic and ethereal elements?

It’s about contrast, finding the balance between aggression and atmosphere. The heavy side represents the collapse; the cinematic layers represent creation and reflection. We approach every track like scoring a film, shaping dynamics around emotion rather than genre rules. That tension between raw and refined is what gives the music its pulse.

(º)> How do you convey emotion and myth simultaneously through your music?

We write from a place of emotion first, the myth follows as a vessel to express it. The story gives context to the feeling, and the feeling gives truth to the story. By connecting those two threads, we can speak about something deeply human through a larger, almost cosmic lens.

Anonymity allows the music and message to come first. It creates a space where listeners can project their own stories onto what we do. There’s a freedom in not knowing who we are, it removes barriers, leaving only the art and the experience. In a world built on faces and filters, mystery can be its own form of honesty.

They’re two sides of the same force. The heaviness reflects the destruction and tension that fuels creation, while the melodies are the light that emerges from it. We wanted those elements to coexist, not fight each other, because that duality is at the heart of our entire concept.

Everything we release is built around a central narrative arc. The music, artwork, and writing all stem from the same creative world. We think of it like chapters in a book, each one should stand alone but also lead naturally to the next. The cohesion comes from intention; every sound and image has a place in the story.
