With Games of Life, Jeppediinho blends his childhood influences, including Avicii and the golden era of house music, into melodic, energetic, and emotionally rich tracks. Four singles from the album have already been released, setting the tone for the journey. The new lead song for the album, “Feels So Good”, captures the pure joy of finally feeling alive and free, while “Lost in My Mind” combines melodic, EDM-driven energy with a story of overthinking and breaking free. “What’s Your Mentality?” adds a powerful drop and uplifting energy, highlighting resilience and determination. Together, these tracks showcase the emotional depth, danceable energy and the variety that define the album.

Interview with Jeppediinho

•)> What emotions or experiences inspired Games of Life, and how do they shape the sound of the album?

The album is inspired by emotions from my early life, both the positive memories, the painful moments and the challenges I had to work through. That mix of energy, struggle and growth shaped the sound. Every song reflects a different part of that journey.

(•)> How did your early love for both hard rock and house music influence the energy and dynamics of your production?

It had a huge impact. I’ve always loved music with strong energy where the melodies are in focus, and that combination is at the heart of my productions. The drive from hard rock and the emotion and melodies from house come together naturally in my songs

(•)> “Feels So Good” captures a sense of freedom, what moment in your life does this song reflect most?

It reflects the moment when I finally started letting go of everything that had happened before, when I could breathe again and find peace in my mind. It’s that feeling of release and finally moving forward.

(•)> How do tracks like “Lost in My Mind” and “What’s Your Mentality?” explore mental health and self-reflection through dance music?

They explore the idea that so much begins with your own mindset, and that sometimes you can feel lost. You can feel better by learning to challenge your own thoughts, and there’s nothing wrong with thinking differently. The tracks turn that message into something you can dance to, a reminder that inner battles can be won.

(•)> What does the phrase Games of Life mean to you personally?

It means that life is a game full of challenges that everyone has to face in order to grow as a human. That’s why each song represents a different chapter of the album, yet they’re all connected.

(•)> How does your background as a professional e-sports player influence your creativity and work ethic in music?

It made me mentally stronger and taught me discipline.

That discipline keeps me focused in the studio, and the competitive mindset helps me push myself creatively.

With discipline comes inspiration, you can't just wait for it, you havee to create it.

(•)> What inspired the stage name “Jeppediinho,” and how does it represent your artistic identity?

It comes from Ronaldinho, the football player who made me fall in love with the sport. I recognize myself in his playful approach, always having fun, even in stressful and tough moments. That’s how I want to approach music and everything in life: with creativity, joy and a bit of playfulness.

(•)> In what ways do you see Avicii’s influence living on in your approach to melody and storytelling?

Avicii showed that house music isn’t only about groove and dancing, it has soul, emotion and storytelling. That approach shaped me. I always try to make melodies that make people feel something, not just dance.

(•)> How do you balance nostalgia for the golden era of house with your own modern, personal sound?

For me, it’s about keeping the soul that meant something in the golden era, the part of the music that made me fall in love with it. I build my songs around the melodies and the emotions they bring, which, for me, is what makes house music timeless

(•)> What do you hope listeners feel or take away after hearing Games of Life from start to finish?

I hope they can relate to the different chapters and phases, and feel the music both in their hearts and in their feet. If the album makes someone feel understood, energized, or inspired, then I’ve succeeded.

(•)> That's all, Folks! Check out Jeppediinho on the Pigeon Spins Playlist
