Japanese American music artist Georgie Oshiro has spent nearly a decade DJing Florida’s underground electronic scene. Rooted in tech house, his sound fuses elements of house, breaks, and progressive styles into an energetic and unforgettable experience. Known for his seamless transitions and crowd-moving sets, Georgie has performed across Florida, leaving his mark at venues that celebrate authentic club culture. Now holding a Saturday night residency at Opulence Nightclub in downtown St. Petersburg, he channels his creative momentum into his original music productions and collaborations. With new releases set to release every month on all platforms, Georgie Oshiro continues to impress as one of Florida’s most exciting new talents in the DJ scene.

(•)> How did your experience DJing Florida’s underground scene shape your approach to producing original tracks?
My first take on the music scene I knew I had to create my own music. Being a DJ taught me that I needed to bring my own tracks. To connect with audiences on a deeper level.
(•)> What was the inspiration behind your latest fun dance track, and how do you see it connecting with festival and party audiences?
The song is Inspired by the adult entertainment industry and dance culture. I think it is a fun track for anyone who likes house or tech house music.

(•)> How did the collaboration with DJ DEW and Alex Zelenka come about for the remixes?
I met Alex at a rave in Naples, and DJ Dew was a mutual respect for each others music work, which brought us together. It’s been an honor and a privilege to work with these kinds of talents.
(•)> How do you balance creating tracks for both the DJ community and wider streaming audiences?
We individually create naturally without putting limits on creative boundaries. The music coming out will be consistent with a variety of genres and across the board, nostalgic

(•)> What drew you to tech house, and how do you incorporate elements of house, breaks, and progressive styles into your music?
DJing, I naturally gravitated towards house and tech house music. Being in FL, hearing breaks and progressive music going out to raves and shows is something I am passionate about.
(•)> How do you see your music evolving with monthly releases and growing international exposure?
Hopefully, more fans and new cities to perform at, DJing, and doing shows.

(•)> What advice would you give to aspiring DJs and producers trying to break into the underground electronic scene?
Don't get caught up in the scene; stay focused on your goals and make genuine connections.
