Bleu Spiruline - Archipels Fragiles

"Achipels Fragiles" completely blew me away! His voice is so deep and emotive. The track blends French pop with subtle electro touches and creates this beautiful, melancholy atmosphere.

Interview with Bleu Spiruline

(•)> What first inspired you to write “Archipels Fragiles,” and how did your love for the sea shape the song’s emotional core?

The image of scattered islands surrounded by an immense sea. The sea is both a refuge and a threat — memory and movement at the same time.

In the song, it becomes a metaphor for our world: beautiful, unstable, and fragile.

(•)> The track balances a sense of global distress with optimism and tenderness. How did you find that emotional equilibrium while writing?

By refusing despair.

Tenderness is a form of resistance. I focused on intimacy, human connections, and those fragile bonds that still allow us to hope.

(•)> You recorded the single in your home studio and played multiple instruments yourself. What did that process allow you to express that a larger studio might not?

Freedom.

The freedom to keep imperfections, silences, and instinct. The song breathes more when it isn’t over-polished. Most importantly, the sound matches the original creation exactly, without intermediaries.

(•)> Your music carries a strong sense of atmosphere and space. How important is soundscape-building to your songwriting?

I compose landscapes rather than just songs. Space, silence, and restraint are essential for allowing emotion to exist.

(•)> Artists like Dominique A, Daho, and Higelin are cited as influences. How do their legacies filter into your work without overwhelming your own voice?

They taught me sincerity and restraint.

Their influence is more about attitude than style. My writing remains firmly anchored in the present.

(•)> Your deep vocal delivery is very distinctive. How conscious are you of using your voice as an emotional instrument?

Yes, but an instinctive one.

I use my voice as an emotional texture, often close to a whisper, to remain human and direct.

(•)> “Le Soleil Vert” gained significant traction after its release. Did that response change your confidence or direction going into this new single?

It confirmed one thing for me: sincerity resonates.

My writing has evolved. 122° Fahrenheit and À Contretemps helped me refine my style. Archipels Fragiles extends that approach in a more intimate way.

(•)> The title “Archipels Fragiles” suggests both beauty and vulnerability. What does that idea represent to you personally?

Human relationships.

Archipels Fragiles is the odyssey of a life — its promises and its drifts. We are separated, yet connected. Fragile, but able to adapt. What ultimately saves us is optimism.

(•)> How do you see your music reflecting the current state of the world while still offering hope?

By refusing cynicism.

By looking at the world as it is, while choosing empathy over resignation.

(•)> For listeners discovering Bleu Spiruline for the first time, what does “Archipels Fragiles” say about who you are as an artist right now?

It’s a snapshot.

A fragile, attentive, and committed project — music as an inner journey, linking our emotions to the harmonics of nature.
