Pigeon Opinion Featuring a Review of Namaste by Cobweb

A long-awaited addition to their discography that features new material as well as reworked versions of their classics. The album combines their signature gritty rock sound with elements of reggae and melodic songwriting. There’s catchy riffs and earnest vocals that reflect their long and varied history. Though it’s no great reinvention, the production is sleek and the band’s veteran confidence is on display. Though the more familiar tracks don’t quite soar as hoped, it’s a good, feel-good rock album that connects their legacy to modern sensibilities. A testament to the enduring power of Cobweb’s music in Nepali rock.
