"ALOHA!" by Wotts is an upbeat and groove-oriented indie pop tune, which concludes the COPE EP in a warm and hazy manner. The song clearly gets inspired by such bands as Tame Impala and Pond, utilizing shimmery effects and groovy psychedelic vibes.
The production sounds immersive and soothing, combining soft synthetic textures, laid-back rhythmic elements, and smooth bass lines. There seems to be a certain movement in the air, although the vibe remains quite fluid and relaxed throughout the entire tune.
The vocals are quite soft and harmonize well with the instruments. In other words, they do not stand out from the background but rather complement it, which makes the dreamy feel even more pronounced.
"ALOHA!" can be perceived as an obvious step in preparation for a new and individual career path of Wotts. It sounds quite mellow and soothing, yet intriguing enough to engage listeners actively.
