On "Moored," Murphy’s urgent croon glides over skittering drums, supple basslines, and shimmering synth pads, echoing the lush gloom of A Storm in Heaven-era The Verve merged with Luminous-era The Horrors. When guest vocalist Elisa Nottingham weaves into the mix, the track becomes a haunting meditation on political apathy and emotional tethering.

By contrast, "Lost It All" plunges straight into heavy early-90s alternative rock grit. Jeramy Koepping’s crunchy, distorted guitar textures anchor Murphy’s forlorn vocals before dissolving into pummeling, leaden swells of doom and gloom.

I cannot recommend them enough.
