PAISLEY JONES EXPLORES LONELINESS AND THE NEED FOR CHANGE ON DEBUT EP “IN STONE”

The London based indie and alternative rock artist introduces a songwriting world shaped by uncertainty, longing and determination.

Paisley Jones presents In Stone, her debut EP, released on 25 September 2026. Following the singles “Heavy”, “In Stone” and “While I Cry”, the release brings together songs that confront difficult feelings and the desire to move beyond them.

Her debut single “Heavy” approaches loneliness through a revealing shift in perspective. A seemingly separate, isolated figure becomes a presence within the narrator herself, turning the song into an exploration of the emotional weight we carry and the different versions of ourselves we live with. The title track gives that introspection a more determined direction. Built around a central guitar riff, “In Stone” addresses the frustration of feeling stuck and the decision to take a chance. Its lyrics connect the need for personal space with an insistence on wanting more. “While I Cry”, released ahead of the EP, introduces another side of Jones’s writing through its focus on heartbreak and the search for comfort.
