On The Menu Make “The Bardo” Feel Like a Slow Burn

A four-song, 17-minute release out on November 27, 2025, Appetizers is a vintage-leaning cut of psych-rock, with “The Bardo” closing the set. Their Appetizers EP lands as a compact, analogue-minded statement, and the closing track is where the tension really lingers

The band already Positioned somewhere between psych-rock and psych-jazz-pop, the Appetizers EP was recorded with acoustic mics and tube amps in service of a more classic, vintage feel. "The Bardo" comes through to me as a track that values texture, it feels open-ended and hazy.

On The Menu let the groove breathe, and that patience gives the EP a lived-in pulse. If the earlier singles hinted at their identity, “The Bardo” sounds like the point where the aesthetic finally clicks into something coherent and worth returning to.
