INTERVIEW: BROMSEN

"Merryman" begins with electrifying beats that make me shake my head up and down at high frequency. Such beats are quickly complemented by some vocal performances that remind me of Interpol's wave-like atmosphere refined by adrenalized synthetic solos! It bops!

1. Cru Cru Karlo Bromsen , super nice to have the chance to chat with you! What first got you into music?

- Here we are now, entertain us - It all started with Nirvana.

2. Can you tell us a cringe memory of yours?

When I tried to cook a curry banana dish – suddenly the banana in the pan put a monocle on and wanted to have a debate with me why I am making music and that the latest song which I played in the kitchen was – according to the banana - miserable. Today the banana is still alive and a big fan of our song, Merryman.

3. What’s your favorite movie?

The good, the bad and the ugly

4 Will you tell us something embarassing about your Creation process?

It is a secret so pls. tell no one, but actually every song we release is pre-approved by the above mentioned banana. If the banana does not like the song – no chance.

5. What’s the best decade for music?

It was the 60’s which brought us the Beatles, Stones, Beach boys, Kinks, Dylan etc etc.

6. Who's your favorite artist?

My favourite - still living - artist is my brother Richard followed by Luka Bloom a great Irish songwriter.

7.What’s the best genre of music?

There is good music, bad music and ugly music independently of the genre

It is a great soup. Our banana is also a big fan.
