“Going Nowhere” turns its title into a feeling, capturing the strange tension between motion and emotional paralysis

"Going Nowhere" suggests inertia, At just over three minutes, Hollow Daze don't have much room for excess, and I like the sense that the track is built around that tension instead of trying to disguise it.

What stays with me is the atmosphere. “Going Nowhere” feels interested in sitting inside an unsettled emotional space. That gives the song a stronger dreamlike quality, particularly when I place it alongside “Nothing” and “Can I Follow You,” the other 2026 singles currently attached to the Hollow Daze catalogue.

It's the kind of short release that makes me curious about what Hollow Daze will do once they have a larger canvas.
