GORPCORP tightens the screws on Xoxo2

The 2025 EP is a four-song, 11-minute sprint with Camila Solis guesting on “Pieces.”
For me, Xoxo2 works because it understands momentum. GORPCORP keeps the EP lean at four tracks, and 11 minute. That brevity gives the record a restless, forward-leaning charge that never lingers long enough to blur its edges. The sequencing is sharp too. “Pornstars,” “Sequel,” “Pieces,” and “I Love My Track 2” read like a mini-arc, with the title itself signaling both continuity and a sly self-awareness. GORPCORP has described it as “xoxo’s slightly more edm sibling,” and that’s exactly how I hear it. Sleeker, brighter, and more wired than the earlier Xoxo EP from 2024. What stands out most is the control. Even when the arrangements feel most kinetic, there’s a disciplined sense of shape behind them, and “Pieces,” with Camila Solis, feels like the moment where the record opens its compact frame just enough to let some warmth through.
