I’ve been following Glass Cannons through the 2025 singles run, and "Overnight Strangers" feels like their clearest expression of a band that wants the noise to stay human. Indie grunge fits Glass Cannos like a glove. Loud, raw, and a little rough around the edges.

They understand the value of letting melody bruise a little. That tension is what I find most compelling here. The song’s three-minute runtime gives it a clipped, urgent feel, and as the latest release in a sequence that began with “Vision Board” and “Ennui,” it sounds like the band has learned how to make restraint feel just as volatile as distortion.
