For me, that’s where the record starts to reveal its shape. it is a set of songs with a punk-leaning sprint that understand when to hit hard and when to let tension hang in the air. “Streetlights,” “Corners of the Room,” “Honest,” “Explode” and the sequencing turns that inner friction into something coherent. The result feels engineered, which is exactly why it works. It has the scrappiness of a local band with something to prove and the restraint of a group that knows every second counts.
