Johan Hoffman - Just In Time
Swedish artist Johan Hoffman returns with “Just in Time” — a romantic indie ballad about love arriving at the last possible moment. Built around a nostalgic, evocative guitar progression, the track tells the story of a cinematic late-night encounter, inspired by a real-life New Year’s Eve reunion. The lyrics reflect themes of longing and transformation, wrapped in a minimalist and emotionally resonant sound.
The song was born during a session of playing along with George Harrison in Peter Jackson’s Get Back documentary — a moment where Harrison introduces a new idea to the band. That progression became the backbone of the track, which Hoffman initially titled “George.” “Just in Time” is the second single from Hoffman’s upcoming album, following the introspective “Day One.” The release continues to explore the album’s central themes of identity, memory, and rebirth, blending poetic lyricism with a cinematic sensibility.
The song is accompanied by a visual campaign rooted in a foggy night shoot in Stockholm —
a homage to both the track’s backstory and mood. More music and short films will follow
leading up to the full album release this fall.
