Check out the original album by Tired Cossack: "I Know, I Guess"!
"Upper" wins me over right from the start with constant drums, noisy guitar lines that remind me more of shoegaze and a vocal performance as charismatic or cartoony as Parquet Courts! The noisy notes are exceptionally enigmatic and leave me completely disoriented, but the contrast they establish with the rest of the performance is really to be commended. Halfway through the track, the melodies become even more festive and an extremely colorful alternative vibe is generated that makes us vibrate even more!
