Rye Catchers' new album, Mix Messages, ends with "History - Nimi Simmons Reprise". Rye Catchers closes his new album with a bang as his electronic beats complement his female accompanist perfectly. There's no looking back in this duet where she ends up playing a more prominent role, reaching very high notes with a very expressive emotional character!!! Melodically, this closing couldn't be more urgent or bombastic! "When you hear this song you'll be thinking of me and in our history". When you abandon someone, as a general rule, you're on the wrong side of history and nobody wants to be on the wrong side of history - not in the Second World War, not in colonialism, not at the end of a relationship.
