Retrovert" begins with soft interspersed strings that fit perfectly with a more skeletal percussion underpinned by an intriguing blue filter. Then Richard's vocals emerge, living in the fantasy of his words. All this work reveals a very smooth style and aesthetic that tries to forget about girls with its sensual and funky sounds. Complemented by synthetic refinements, Richard Berger reveals himself to be an independent artist not to be overlooked, as he has the gift of the gab and a groovy identity that isn't afraid to dig into the past.
