Review
The backing melodies of "There's Nothing Anybody Can Do" are really soft, I have no words to describe how docile Mick J. Clark's instruments are. These melodies serve to support these charming lyrics about loneliness and a universal feeling of helplessness where tears are shed and time is wasted, and the whole aesthetic of this song reminds me a little of the ballads of the fabulous quartet: The Beatles. I love swaying to Mick's delicate six-string, and his performance couldn't be more sincere or emotional... The orchestral strings in the background in the form of luxurious violins turn the soft gem that is "There's Nothing Anybody Can Do" into something epic that culminates in a romantic chorus with a lonely Romeo dealing with rejection.
