Michael Days - Wasted Days
1. Cru cru, what first got you into music?
I was inspired to play guitar at a young age and began trying to replicate guitarist from the rock genre, listening to vinyl records, moving the needle back and forth while emulating on my guitar the parts of songs. After a few years I started to listen/emulate jazz horn players like Miles Davis and Eric Dolphy.
2. What or who is your inspiration to create music?
I was moved by the songs I heard on the radio and even before playing guitar I attempted to write lyrics and sing songs I had written, seeing myself as a songwriter.
3. How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?
Times are very hard for musicians right now, harder than they've ever been, an I think the internet has contributed to that through streaming services, but at the same time it has allowed contact with many fans and for this I am grateful.
4. Will you tell us something embarassing about you?
5. How is your perfect day?
My perfect day is writing a song that expresses who I am while reaching new musical heights and experimenting with new tones and ideas.
6. What memorable responses have you had to your work so far?
I am grateful when I become aware that people are listening to my work.
7. Do you see yourself as a music nerd?
My head is spinning with musical ideas all day and night. I'm not so much a fan of music as I am a spiritual representative of the creation of songs and sounds.
8. What album do you replay the most?
I'm a huge fan of something or some song that hits me in a surprising manner and inspires my creativity.
9. What's your favorite movie?
I'm not a huge movie fan, I use movies as a form of escapism, usually mindless action movies.
10. Do you agree with the Pigeon?
