1. Cru cru, what first got you into music?
I heard London Calling by the Clash. That was it. Hooked. Punk rock attitude well played.
2. What or who is your inspiration to create music?
The buzz you get from a great song or a great gig cannot be beaten. An insightful lyric with a strong melody delivered with attitude - yeah thats what I mean - is the fucking pinnacle of civilisation. Rock n roll in all its different variants played with brains and heart is the best thing. It's the most brilliant creative art that connects straight to you heart. And great artists - a long list of filmmakers, writers and songwriters and musicians all inspire me - Joe Strummer, Bob Dylan, Bob Marley, Paul Weller, Ray Davis, Miles Davis, Sergio Leone, Billy Wilder, Quentin Tarentino, Scorsese, Loach , Richard Price, James Ellroy and loads more.
3. What's your most controverisal music opinion?
Led Zeppelin are overrated
4. Will you tell us something embarassing about you?
I like Dire Straits and Steely Dan. I've said it and I can't hdie any longer.
5. How is your perfect day?
Getting up late, noone around and putting on my favourite tunes with my morning coffee.
6. What memorable responses have you had to your work so far?
One rveiwer wrote "he is a punk Springsteen". I'll take that!
7. Do you see yourself as a music nerd?
Oh god yes. Obsessional.
8. What album do you replay the most?
Sandinista by The Clash
9. What's your favorite movie?
Well either The Good the Bad and the Ugly or The Wages of Fear.
