Review
"The Speed Of Dreaming" inserts us into a post-apocalyptic scenario that sounds more like an indie college filmmaker creating his first literary epic for young adults, as "The Speed Of Dreaming" perfectly captures the fleeting feeling of that first love and that first romance - "Tell me that you love me". Meanwhile, a skeletal beat carries the track forward and then undergoes a metamorphosis into something organic, almost like a beat switch. Afterwards, we beg at the top of our lungs to be rescued, as we follow a slideshow of edgy images that brilliantly capture adolescent love in the form of a fire that burns unseen. It would be a crime not to mention, once again, the nostalgia that bands like Love Ghost provoke in me, since I grew up as an emotional teenager relating to the deep, processed vocals and explosive lyrics of Blink-182.
