ARTIST INTERVIEW: LOVE GHOST

Review

"Luna Azul" and its robotic vocal effects remind me of one of Blink-182's nostalgic singles "Neighborhoods", but here the intense drums popularized by Travis Barker that we normally associate with the genre are replaced by efficient, skeletal night beats. On the other hand, "Luna Azul" acquires unique qualities through Latin words that add immense personality to this youthful banger, and through a hook in which the others don't believe we can be what we say we are. Volatile like the pop-punk that marked my adolescence, "Luna Azul" is another victory for Love Ghost!
