Review
"Angelic" is born through intimate acoustic guitars where a genuine texture reigns, perfectly complemented by one of the members of LOVE GHOST. What a left turn! Unlike the bombastic singles that seem to come from the streets of late-night youth during other LOVE GHOST songs, "Angelic" is a sentimental ballad. Extraordinary verses like "love will kill me if I let it" remind me so much of the stance of Brand New's best work, which defined an entire generation of emotional music. The dreamy and empty production capable of breaking any heart of "Angelic" reminds me especially of one of the last ballads of "Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me" - "Handcuffs" or "Archers" - personal favorites of mine, so it would be impossible not to admire this masterpiece with a similar aesthetic.
