1. Hey Kaysien, super nice to have the chance to chat with you. What first got you into music?
Hi, thanks for having me on site. Ah, music has always been with me, a trait common in my family. I was born with a muse humming on my shoulder. Though it took a few years to get started (I was 19 when I began teaching myself my first instrument) and I haven't looked back since.
2. What is the first thing you think of when you wake up?
Gratefulness for being alive & well, along with the tasks of the day.
3. What are you focusing on right now?
The upcoming animated music and lyric video for my recent track 'Portals' and a fresh concept for my next music releases
4. What is the biggest mistake you have made within your career to this point?
I've learnt from every misstep so I don't regard experiences as mistakes, that's destructive language which can throttle creativity.
5. What’s your favorite TV show?
Don't have one!
6. What’s your favorite movie?
Labyrinth.
7. What jobs have you done other than being an artist?
I've had many jobs along the way but most recently I've run a music production company working with amateur/aspiring emerging artists and writers.
8. What is the biggest challenge of being an artist?
Monetizing your work.
9. What are your plans for the future?
After the music video for 'Portals' is released, I'm working on a new set of songs, putting a live band together and figuring out video content!
