1. Cru cru, what first got you into music?
I've always been immersed in the world of music! First and foremost through my family, then from the age of 7 I started making music. Music is a passion, especially composition, which is why I listen to so many different genres.
2. What or who is your inspiration to create music?
Without a doubt Blues and Jazz, and of course the whole world of Acid-Jazz! I also listen to classical, rock and other styles, all of which have their own particularities, which for me as a composer brings a lot to the table.
3. How do you feel the internet has impacted the music business?
Good and bad! As someone who still comes from an analog or organic musical world, the world of the Internet has destabilized artists a great deal! These days, there's too much of it, and often the musical sense presented isn't very professional, and all the applications that make music in place of the musicians, bring a lot of negativity!
4. Will you tell us something embarassing about you?
It's hard to say! For some people, I'd be a good person, but for others, I'd be an embarrassment.
5. How is your perfect day?
A day like I like them starts with a good cup of coffee, then I pick up my guitar and play, compose and research, and to finish the day we meet up with friends for a good drink and a chat or listen to some good old music.
6. What memorable responses have you had to your work so far?
During studio sessions, when you get to the end of the piece with all the musicians and what has been played, it's hearing the final work and you know it will be immortal.
7. Do you see yourself as a music nerd?
Absolutely, and as they say a world without music is a world without life! THE music is playing and I can still hear it in my head.
8. What album do you replay the most?
Mine first! As I always say, I'm the first fan! Then I listen to a lot of old albums from the 60s, 70s and 80s, which for me is where you find all the essence of our modern music.
9. What's your favorite movie?
I don't know, there are several.
10. Do you agree with the Pigeon?
Yes, but only if it does its job properly.... Smile!
