"Everything" opens Brendan Byrnes' work with primitive drumming. Melodically, there's harmony and serenity combined with choirs that remind me of the exceptional psychedelia of Animal Collective. The air here takes me on a trip and the breezy guitar licks couldn't be more transcendent or imaginative. When Byrnes' music veers towards a heavier atmosphere, it manages to sound vaster than the concept of time itself and ends up exploring its planetary, eternity and life concepts in a very successful way.
