21 SAVAGE - SAVAGE MODE II (2020)
(•)> "Savage Mode II" and I have a tale worth being told. I'm pretty sure that in 2020 I was one of the few that dismissed it as "mid" since I found it very monochord at the time. A week ago, I dared to replay it in the afternoon, because I had the feeling that I would vibe with it a lot more... Unfortunately, it was just a bit better. Now, I was a fan of 21 Savage cold delivery, but I wasn't as impressed with Metro's production skeletal production as I once was. I went to do other things. At night I returned and out of the blue I chose to play the chopped (not slopped) version of "Savage Mode II" which made me finally appreciate the many highlights on the album. So, I replayed the original "Savage Mode II" again, and again, and again, until the end of the night. Now, not only I'm a huge fan of Morgan Freeman's cinematic interludes, "Steppin' On Niggas", and "Snitches & Rats" but I'm also head over heels for Metro Boomin''s casual and nocturnal beats, 21 Savage's ruthless delivery over luxurious samples or surprise features on diamonds like "Runin'", "Glock In My Lap", "Mr. Right Now", "Rich Nigga Shit", "Slidin'", "Many Men", and last but not least an emotional left turn in the form of "No Opp eft Behind", "RIP Luv" and "Said N' Done". "Savage Mode II" goes so fuckin' hard - I can't wait to buy the CD to blow up the speakers of my car when I go out at night!
Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake (2020)
(•)> Don't believe the hype! Lil Uzi Vert fakes a spatial concept and is usually redundant in this long-awaited release.

(•)> "Pray for Paris" 's features bring some highlights, but as a whole doesn't feel like a memorable album at all revealing Westside Gunn is the most underwhelming member of GRISELDA.

(•)> Replay. Replay. Replay. Denzel Curry and producer Kenny Beats join their powers to make a comic book stacked with cinematic references worth being revisited!
Miley Cyrus - Plastic Hearts (2020)
(•)> Miley Cyrus' approach to '80s rock reveals some surprising nostalgic and edgy cuts but is also derivative and has its fair share of big fat duds.
Chloe x Halle - Ungodly Hour (2020)
(•)> In their sophomore the sisters win me over with infectious hooks, captivating R&B production, and undeniable chemistry.
Drake - Dark Lane Demo Tapes (2020)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Adrianne Lenker - songs (2020)
(•)> Gorgeous colorful aesthetics and Adrienne Lenker's potent performances make this sincere album a raw sensory stimulation.
