Tyler, The Creator - IGOR (2019)
(•)> The album that depicts Tyler The Creator as the Frankenstein monster (Igor) after a painful breakup is a perfectly flawed masterpiece. Turning up the distortion to an extreme is a creative and bold choice that enhances the chaos and loss going on inside his mind. Amazing features and versatile and emotionally impactful performances also make "Igor" a great or even better follow-up to "Flower Boy". Furthermore, it made me happy to see a record so experimental and personal that might be the best album of that year riding the mainstream waves with its most fragile and heartbreaking song: "EARFQUAKE".
