(•)> Kendrick's sophomore is so vivid and cinematic. I can picture his so-called "friends" selling dope and guns in their corner of the street making deals for profit via pagers and protecting their precious corner from other gangs with their own lives while Kendrick is just along for the ride. The struggles of a young Kendrick growing up in the streets of Compton facing peer pressure, social inequalities, and gun violence make for one of the best concept albums of all time and a masterpiece of a film. No chance in hell that I'll let you duck out of this one.

It's sort of ironic how Jack Antonoff is such an outstanding producer now, although fun. sucks balls on that department.
