Radiohead - In Rainbows (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Kanye West - Graduation (2007)

Ye ends the colorful and iconic dropout bear trilogy with a record more driven to the mainstream. Kanye's graduation hits and misses. Despite sometimes falling into outdated trends it has its fair share of refreshing and colorful bangers inspired by electronica.

Arctic Monkeys - Favourite Worst Nightmare (2007)

(•)> Arctic Monkeys' versatile sophomore starts strong showing similar strengths to their debut in a darker atmosphere, but later falls into some traps.

Daft Punk - Alive 2007 (2007)

(•)> Daft Punk's most famous live show is full of mind-blowing fusions between "Homework", "Discovery" and "Human After All" making it an incredible urgent epic crossover!

Arcade Fire - Neon Bible (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

M.I.A. - Kala (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

The National - Boxer (2007)

Gorillaz — D-Sides (2007)

(•)> Sometimes Damon Albarn's mask falls off making this compilation not virtual enough, but most of it consists of pretty interesting experiments. Don't forget to check out "Happy Landfill", "Rockit" and "stopdams" if you're a fan of Demon Days.

Elliott Smith - New Moon (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

AJJ - People Who Eat People Are The Luckiest People Of All (2007)

(•)> Although knowing we are not perfect by any means, AJJ realistic songwriting still appeals to universal love with extremely genuine and emotionally broken raw performances.

Blu & Exile - Below The Heavens (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

The White Stripes - Icky Thump (2007)

(•)> After a slightly underwhelming dance with the Devil, right before breaking up for good, everyone's favorite couple tries to re - ash their glorious past playing the blues once again, with a bold move: "Icky Thump". There is no reason for "Icky Thump" to be this noisy and silly, but on the other hand, I'm glad they were able to make something different and sort of unique in their catalog.

Queens of the Stone Age - Era Vulgaris (2007)

(•)> Some really interesting haunting loops and experimental robotic riffs make "Era Vulgaris" a good enough record.

PJ Harvey - White Chalk (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Panda Bear - Person Pitch (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Interpol - Our Love To Admire (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Modest Mouse - We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank (2007)

(•)> March on! March on! In “We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank”, somehow Modest Mouse manages to recruit Johnny Maar from The Smiths fame and make him march into the sea. During dangerous high tides, his dynamic guitar riffs and bridges slash through the giant waves and thunderstorms that make Captain Isaac scream, growl, bark, roar, howl, or wale, despite him only singing and whispering during the blissful low tides. Besides, Maars’ excellent guitar playing and Isaac’s versatile and cartoony performances, on this chaotic and overblown trip backed by a bloated tracklist stand out “March Into the Sea”, “Missed the Boat”, and “Little Motel”. I also appreciate the orchestral sensibilities this record brings to the table and last but not least, the unique atmosphere present on the ship deserves a whole paragraph on its own. I'm lost at sea with a crew of pirates in a nasty and tiny ship. We have scurvy in our yellow teeth and no one knows how to read the map to the places where we wanted to go. There are fleas, seaweeds, rats, and all sorts of pests and diseases all over the deck, bells are ringing and most of our cargo was already eaten by the sea. The toxic smoke from the engine room makes us cough every damn time, the dashboard melted but we still have the radio to keep on the transmissions, and the shelves are filled with navigation books so we used them to wipe our asses. Meanwhile, perpetual and furious sea waves clash against the ship and are starting to slowly take it down to the bottom of the ocean while loud seagulls fly high up in the sky, but the black flag still swings on the mainmast. Even though the intriguing concept with a lot of potential where the crew would be cursed to die in every single track was scrapped, sometimes I can still see myself walking sideways and belonging to a salty and mean pirate gang of rats that causes havoc in every dock that we pass through and our misadventures always end with our heads on spikes feeding the ground with carbon. One naive mouse might try to start a mutiny and wish death on himself arguing this is Captain Brock running out of breath and going down with his ship after reaching the dangerous currents and whirlpools of the mainstream and many will walk the plaque and go overboard following that mouse, but I picked my poison and stayed once I realize the true album that I wanted is the friends I made along the way chanting and triumphantly sinking as a pirate.

MIKA - Life In Cartoon Motion (2007)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

The Shins - Wincing The Night Away (2007)

(•)> Just give the old dark side a try. With not one, but two glowing indie gems already under their belt, The Shins are constantly searching for light on their darkest record to date. James Mercer might suffer from insomnias on "Wincing The Night Away", but even the thoughts that multiply his sleepless nights seem to be playful and quirky like always! Some singles like "Australia", "Phantom Limb", "Turn On Me", etc. and lullabies like "Sleeping Pills" can go head to head with the very best of The Shins in this strange and weird effort filled with puppets and zombies, that took a few years to grow on me.
