Gorillaz - Demon Days (2005)
(•)> Demon Days is a dark record that reflects on men and our toxic relationship with nature. Society really sent your favorite monkees on a violent rampage!
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Panic! At The Disco - A Fever You Can't Sweat Out (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
The Strokes - First Impressions Of Earth (2005)
(•)> On their mixed third effort The Strokes core sound needs a break urgently, but they still deliver some good songs here and there.
Fiona Apple - Extraordinary Machine (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Kanye West - Late Registration (2005)
(•)> Mr. West and his homies can't afford gas, because they must've gone broke to create this sophomore. "Late Registration" showcases high production value with expensive features and luxurious samples updating the dropout bear formula to a glamourous Broadway Show.
Paramore - All We Know Is Falling (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Daft Punk - Human After All (2005)
(•)> Daft Punk's third effort delivers an intriguing mechanical concept showcasing really strong bold highlights, but unfortunately, even these get stale quickly.
Coldplay - X & Y (2005)
(•)> Disappointing! Coldplay's third effort to bring introspection to the masses really manages to impress on the production side in the first half, but "X&Y" and its shallow concept totally nosedive in the bland and generic second half.
Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree (2005)
(•)> FOB speeds up and delivers very catchy tunes with "unique" titles to say the least, but at the end of the day, the songwriting is so unimpactful that the only thing I'm grateful for is the memories.
THE MOUSE & THE MASK - DANGERDOOM (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
LCD Soundsystem - Sound of Silver (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Weezer - Make Believe (2005)
(•)> Weezer betrays their fans by selling their nerdy sound to the mainstream and the results couldn't be more shallow.
M.I.A. - Arular (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Animal Collective - Feels (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Broadcast - Tender Buttons (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Queens of the Stone Age - Lullabies To Paralyze (2005)
(•)> I treated this album too harshly in the past, now I feel that "Lullabies To Paralyze" is solid enough.
The Campfire Headphase - Boards of Canada (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Boris - Pink (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
The White Stripes - Get Behind Me Satan (2005)
(•)> The minimal approach of the White Stripes starts to get stale on "Get Behind Me Satan" and one starts to question: "How many songs can Jack and Meg create using only drums and guitar without repeating themselves?" - it sounds like a math problem. Overall, it is an underwhelming project, despite "Blue Orchid": a great tune. I can also appreciate how theatrical the whole thing sounds, but the country tunes here are not my cup of tea.
Franz Ferdinand - You Could Have It So Much Better (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
The National - Alligator (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Bloc Party - Silent Arm (2005)
(•)> Block Party's debut feels urgent and its sharp adrenaline-inducing inducing catchy fusions of rock and electronics are a breath of fresh air in the revival scene.
The Mountain Goats - The Sunset Tree (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
Sleater-Kinney — The Woods (2005)
(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!
