Radiohead - OK Computer (1997)

(•)> Fitter, happier, more productive.

Elliott Smith - Either/Or (1997)

(•)> An excellent fit for "Good Will Hunting". Elliot Smith pours his heart out in his bedroom backed by genius acoustic guitar chords making "Either/Or" a near-perfect existential and emotional masterpiece.

Björk - Homogenic (1997)

(•)> On the epic ice cold stoic majestic "Homogenic" Björk's marvellous unique intense vocal performances stand out as an alien in search of love.

Foo Fighters - The Colour And The Shape (1997)

(•)> FF's sophomore is a better effort, but the juxtaposition between loud and soft tunes becomes tedious after a while.

Daft Punk - Homework (1997)

(•)> Incessant razor-sharp grooves make Daft Punk's debut an urgent sweaty futuristic energetic fun nonstop head-banging night club party!

Blur - Blur (1997)

The Notorious B.I.G. - Life After Death (1997)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Stereolab - Dots and Loops (1997)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Third Eye Blind - Third Eye Blind (1997)

(•)> How is this even possible?! I'm not even a 90's kid, but I have so much nostalgia for songs like "Semi-Charmed Life", "Jumper", "Graduate" and "How's It Going to Be"!!! That said, this debut is also sonically consistent, so I think it deserves my attention.

Spiritualized - Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space (1997)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

The Prodigy - The Fat of the Land (1997)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Janet Jackson - The Velvet Rope (1997)

(•)> Unapologetically 90s. Let's get free!!! This is the night to end all nights!!!

Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One (1997)

(•)> Heartwarming. If I listen closely I can hear my heart beating slower and heating when Yo La Tengo plays this record stacked with cozy songs: "Return To Hot Chicken", "Moby Octopad", "Sugarcube", "Damage", "Deeper into Movies", "Stockholm Syndrome", "Autumn Sweater", "Green Arrow", "One PM Again", "Center of Gravity", "We're an American Band", "My Little Corner of the World". As a whole, "I Can Hear The Heart Beating As One" is a very dynamic experience that really shines with distorted guitars, ethereal synths, and heartwarming tunes. Golden leaves start falling from the sky and I just get overwhelmed with a pure sense of joy and nostalgia when I'm listening to this one during an Autumn night.

The Verve - Urban Hymns (1997)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

(•)> This immature pop-punk trio starts to show some serious catchy power in singles such as "Dammit".

Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - The Boatman's Call (1997)

(•)> new opigeon coming soon!!!

Bob Dylan - Time Out Of Mind (1997)

(•)> Dylan's solitude written on its undeniable quality poetry breaks my heart when backed by such simple acoustic melodies.

Built To Spill - Perfect From Now On (1997)

(•)> Randy opens with extraordinary and relatable genius metaphors on eternity. Powerful considerations on life such as "God is whoever you're performing for" or "enjoy the luxury of sympathy" sustained by distorted melodic bridges make "Perfect From Now On" a brutal existential experience.
