“Born To Fly” feels like a song gradually opening the doors and letting the whole room in. It starts from a fairly intimate place, with her vocal sitting close to us, before the guitars begin pushing everything wider. Rishabh Sharma’s guitar work gives the song its rock backbone, while Ananya Wadkar’s sitar adds these bright and unmistakably Indian tones that sit surprisingly naturally beside the guitars.

AquariO comes flying in with “Get Some FCKN Therapy,” a debut that sounds like it was beamed in from somewhere completely off-grid. I’m hearing electropop, hyperpop, future garage and a bit of electroclash all smashing into each other, with fractured beats, warped textures and vocals that feel both intimate and slightly unhinged. There’s vulnerability underneath all the chaos and the track turns emotional overload into movement, which feels like a pretty perfect introduction

My first listen to “What Emily Has Seen” caught me off guard. It sounds like a sunny little indie-pop song until the weight underneath starts to sink in. There’s a crisp and melodic indie-pop drive, with guitars sitting in this warm wash of reverb that gives the whole thing a slightly dreamy, radio-friendly glow.
